The Two Pillowcase Dress

Pretty Yellow Dress was made with two vintage pillow cases. It is a size 4. It is made with the same pattern I've been using just a different skirt and longer sleeves. I like this because the skirt seems a bit more flowy.

Upcycled Pink Yoga Bag

After making the kimono for Violet, I knew I had to do something great with the rest of the skirt. When I made my self a yoga bag I thought this would be great material for another bag!

Sorry for the baby foot!

You can find this bag on my Etsy store!

A gift for Violet

My good friend from college just had her first baby, a girl! I had this beautiful Indian (I think) print skirt I got at the thrift store and I had been holding on to it until I was able to find the right project for it. When I was looking for some material to make Violet a gift I knew that this was it!
Instead of a one piece back, I had to cut it as two pieces, but I think it turned out really well.

Of course, no kimono is complete without little shoes!

Welcome to the world, little Violet!!

I just added a Sweet Blue Flower dress to Etsy. I love these prints together.
Two skirts made for little Mercy Rose, sister-in-law. We can't wait to see them this summer!

Gifts for Friends

This weekend Ethan, my Mom and I went to a baby shower. My good friend from high school is having her first, a boy!! This is what I made for the new little guy:
All above are upcycled. The bunny from a t-shirt and the kimono and shoes from sheets.

This sweet little dress was just shipped out to a friend across the sea.
